Microman Figures Page

The three cool guys at the top are respectively a Romando remake of the MC-11 MicroKnight, an original Takara
m122 Michael, and the Romando original color scheme Rescue figure, m255 Wilder. Note Wilder's clear wrists and hands, the
only Microman figure to ever sport these. He comes in the Romando Rescue Set pictured beneath these three. I considered these three of my cooler aquisitions (along with my first two Spy Magicians,
which can be spotted in some pics on other pages here) at the time I made this page orginally.

These are early scans of the figures I had parts chromed by Chrome-Tech, except the Command 1 figure "Eiji" and Easter Island-motif
case, which is part of the original Romando Starter Set. The rest were all custom chromed to order. I have better pics of these guys on the Rescue Base Seattle Secret Update Page now.
Chrome-Tech can be reached at:
Chrome-Tech
2314 Ravenswood Road
Madison, Wisconsin 53711

Ask for their ordering info to be sent to you. They specialize in chroming parts for model cars, etc. but can do special orders like
micro-parts. Check out the Real Microman Page to see the Biosuit I also had chromed by them.

I figured as everyone's mentioned Diaclone figures, but no one ever gives any close-ups or scale comparisons, I
would remedy this. Here is a Diaclone figure, and he's tiny. He has magnets on his feet, and a metal rear torso and head.
These figure piloted Diaclone vehicles and are why all first generation Transformer cars and jets have little cockpits.
They look like very tiny Microman figures, or a little like Robotman/Biotron. This is because they were originally planned as a scaled down spin off of Microman called "Inchman." As it is some Microman toys are in this scale, such as the Rescue Servos, the minifigures in the rescue Microman capsules and the death King enemy robot's pilot.

When I posted this page, Neo Henshin Cyborg #1 had just come out from Takara! He's a remake of the original ancestor of Microman. I've added some Invaceptron parts
to him (yes, he's interchangable) to make hime look even more Microman-like. With him is a M266 Romando Salam and a Diaclone figure for scale. He's
as tall as Robotman/Biotron, which was from the early crossover toy line between Henshin Cyborg and Microman. Very VERY cool! He also comes with a
flyer that gives the Neo Henshin Cyborg continuity, and it includes Android A, Microman, and the Victory Project...
Since then, Takara also made Cyborg '99, which uses magnetic parts to be interchangable with the new Microman toys and the Mgnemo-11 line.

About half as tall as Neo Henshin Cyborg is the Microman spin-off figure Timanic. These guys are fairly fragile, only had a few
variations with light-up heads and about 5 magnetically compatible vehicles before they were dropped by Takara. They have the same
kinds of feet and hands as a Microman figure, but twice the size. They are also compatible with Microman toys and listed as part
of the Microman series in the "Microman Playbook". Strangely, they are not as posable as Microman figures, and much more fragile than their
smaller elder siblings.
Microman is (c)1996 Takara, Ltd, Japan. No infringement is intended.
